Tnt Flake Simulants

Tnt Flake Simulants Tnt was first prepared in 1863 by german chemist julius wilbrand and originally used as a yellow dye. its potential as an explosive was not appreciated for several years mainly because it was so difficult to detonate and because it was less powerful than alternatives. This training aid simulates flake tnt explosives. the explosive simulant is visually correct and engineered to have the same density and effective atomic number (zeff) as the real explosive threat.

Tnt Cast Simulants
Tnt Cast Simulants

Tnt Cast Simulants Inert flake tnt explosive simulant for eod and checkpoint training. high quality inert simulant that looks and feels just like the real explosive. contains no hazardous chemicals and is safe to use. material is biodegradable and does not make a mess if used for rsp training. This inert training aid includes 1 lb. of simulated tnt flake sealed in a plastic package. this is a castable material for use in training and product development can be cast into any form or shape just like real tnt flake. Military and commercial tnt is available in several forms. we manufacture and can supply all three forms, as inert products, for various types of training, testing and simulation. All items are entirely inert & safe. goods are simulants for training and recognition purposes.

Explosives Narcotics Simulants A I Explosives Military and commercial tnt is available in several forms. we manufacture and can supply all three forms, as inert products, for various types of training, testing and simulation. All items are entirely inert & safe. goods are simulants for training and recognition purposes. All our simulants maintain the same x ray signature, texture and shape as the threat they are replicating. simulants are used throughout the world to test the detection skills of screeners while on the job. all our simulants are made from high quality non toxic, non hazardous synthetic materials. Flaked trinitrotoluene (tnt), is simply broken up, irregular small chunks and flakes of cast yellow explosive. often they are left over from the hot melt casting process, used to fill grenades, mines and mortar rounds. These training kits provide an accurate x ray signature of the threats they are replicating. This training aid simulates bulk flake tnt and is available in larger quantities for custom builds. the explosive simulant is visually correct and engineered to have the same density and effective atomic number (zeff) as the real explosive threat.
