Thoughts R Comicbookcollecting Needles to say i will visit that comic shop again. i like chatting up the workers owners at these shops to see how things are going. i like the attitude of both of those owners and i will be back soon to pick up more books from those lcs. all my lcs books are over priced and one does counter pricing. i haven’t bought any back issues from my lcs’s. Just for shits and giggles, self slabbing and grading my own comics. all my spider man pickups from the last few months. my favorite batman cover ever.

Anyone Read This One R Comicbookcollecting Question so, how much comics are in your collection? (self icbookcollecting) submitted 8 days ago by content geologist420 be honest now! no shaming for having small or massive amounts. i just am curious. i'm just north of 1,400 comics been collecting for 3 years now. When it comes to collecting comics, it is a very individual thing. for instance, i would never slab a book, because my enjoyment comes from reading and reading reading my collection. but for some collectors it is all about getting and preserving pristine copies. i collect the comics of about 30 different characters or groups. some people collect every first. some just collect dc or marvel. Do you ever think marvel and dc will ever return to legacy numbering or stop the constant reboots every six months and **another** #1?. In my experience, the book i want always comes up for sale again. do your due diligence, come up with a price you’re not willing to exceed and wait until you get it for that price or lower. except golden age, buy golden age when you see it if you’re in to collecting it.

My wife has asked me this a few times and i can’t seem to answer her one of the main reasons. i collect and read comics because the characters feel like friends that have never left me or stopped talking to me because i’m not useful anymore to them. R comicbookscollecting: a place to show off comic book collections, discuss comic book collecting, discuss comic events, favorite writers and artists…. Read the comics that are fun for you, not the “hot” comics. i read all the marvel and dc books as a kid. i’d read them carefully and then bag and catalog them. then i discovered comic conventions where you get exposed to many things you wouldn’t otherwise.
