Neighbourhood health is about bringing care closer to where people live, strengthening prevention, and joining up services across the nhs, local government, social care, and the voluntary sector.

The Neighbourhood Health Implementation Programme Boost The national neighbourhood health implementation programme is about rethinking how we work together and how we deliver care to support the health and wellbeing of our communities, recognising that health is wider than healthcare. Need to move to a neighbourhood health service that will deliver more care at home or closer to home, improve people’s access, experience and outcomes, and ensure the sustainability of health and social care delivery. We will address this by creating a neighbourhood health service building on the plethora of inspiring pilot programmes that have tested this in different parts of the nhs, local government. Local systems will be supported by the national neighbourhood health implementation programme, which will build capability, develop infrastructure and identify success criteria for the scaling of new models.
