The Living Room Senior Art Exhibition The Wheel
The Living Room Senior Art Exhibition The Wheel “the living room” showcases each artist’s journey of their time at st. kate’s. the artwork on view includes themes of family, emotions, identity, and connections. Like the living room in a home, this exhibition considers what it means to create a space that is private yet shared, settled yet always in flux. more than a metaphor, it becomes a way of being: a model for how an exhibition might gather people, hold ideas, and remain open.
The Living Room Senior Art Exhibition The Wheel Housed at sam’s refreshed collection gallery, the exhibition brings together performance based works from the collections of all three institutions to explore how performances – fleeting by nature – can be remembered, reactivated, and carried forward through different forms of engagement.
