Dallas hope charities' mission is to provide food, shelter and services that instill dignity, stability and hope for all to the homeless and lgbtq community. It is with great pleasure that hope housing foundation (hope) have an opportunity to provide a summary of hope’s experience. hope has a mission of providing safe, decent, sanitary, and affordable housing to the communities we serve. Serving hope is a volunteer driven initiative dedicated to providing organic, home cooked meals to those in need across the dallas–fort worth area. through partnerships and community support, we nourish homeless individuals, veterans, nursing home residents, and at risk families. In the 30 years since the hope foundation for cancer research was established, the cancer death rate in the united states has dropped 30 percent – which translates into more than 3 million deaths avoided. Through various programs and initiatives, the hope center foundation aims to make a positive impact on the community and help those facing challenges to find hope and assistance. This past weekend, i traveled to dallas, texas for one of those moments that reminds you why you do this work. together with bishop t.d. jakes and the extraordinary team at the t.d. jakes foundation, we cut the ribbon on a new t.o.r.i. community office at the dec network near red bird mall — and inside that office, we opened the doors to a brand new hope inside financial empowerment center.
