Home Carson Scholars Fund Carson scholars fund, inc. is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization founded in 1994 by world renowned pediatric neurosurgeon dr. ben carson and his wife, candy. csf seeks to combat the american education crisis by discovering promise and rewarding excellence in our nation’s youth through our scholarship programs. Applications for the carson scholars program will open in december 2025. we respectfully acknowledge the university of arizona is on the land and territories of indigenous peoples. today, arizona is home to 22 federally recognized tribes, with tucson being home to the o’odham and the yaqui.
