Boxcar The Zekelman Holocaust Center The centerpiece is a holocaust era boxcar, much like the ones used by the nazis at the time to transport jews and other “undesirables” and implement the final solution. Part of the henrietta and alvin weisberg gallery, the boxcar is the largest curated historical artifact in the hc. it is the first exhibit that visitors will see as they enter, and stands to the immediate right of the entrance, accompanied by information which emphasizes the historical significance of the boxcar in the history of the holocaust.
