St Peter School Christmas Concert Joy To The World Saint Peter School This week we have been feeling very christmassy, as the advent season begins. pupils across the school have been preparing to share their performances with parents and guardians, and have been enjoying many festive activities. The advent season is officially upon us! we lit the first candle on the advent wreath during today’s prayer circle, 5th grade decorated the bulletin.
December Issue Of Highlights Newsletter Is Now Available To View On december 1, 2025, the peterian community opened the advent season with the blessing of the advent wreath led by our parish priest, rev. fr. jomar burgos, lrms. in his reflection, he reminded the school community that advent is a time when we joyfully wait for the coming of christ. Ristmas brings should fill us with an ever ending hope that will sustain us through all trials and tribulations. in his last homily for christmas, pope francis shared this beautiful message of hope as he opened the holy year.: "an angel of the lord, bathed in light, illumines the night. My loving jesus, i choose you, this advent, as my king and my god. draw me close to you and help me to see my sins so that i can change the things that you want me to change. Advent has begun at st peter’s, and we are thrilled to share this special season with our children and families. advent is a time of waiting and preparing for the celebration of jesus’ birth a season filled with hope, peace, joy, and love.
