The 9th Annual Sleep Circadian Science Research Day Presents The Join us for the center for sleep and circadian science's annual research day. this event highlights the innovative and transdisciplinary sleep and circadian research across the translational spectrum taking place here at pitt and other local universities and institutions. The 5th annual sleep and circadian science research day is a full day inter disciplinary event hosted by the university of pittsburgh center for sleep and circadian science.
The 9th Annual Sleep Circadian Science Research Day Presents The Sleep researchers including pitt psychiatry faculty, trainees and students gathered in late november at the pitt university club to explore new research in the field of sleep and circadian science at the center for sleep and circadian science research day. This event highlights the innovative and transdisciplinary sleep and circadian research across the translational spectrum taking place here at pitt and other local universities and institutions. it also provides us with the opportunity to network with colleagues. The annual sleep & circadian science research day presents new research in the field to faculty, trainees, and students at the university of pittsburgh. The 7th Annual Sleep Circadian Science Research Day Presents The The annual sleep & circadian science research day presents new research in the field to faculty, trainees, and students at the university of pittsburgh. Register today and join us for the 5th annual sleep and circadian science research day on thursday, november 21, 2019 from 9:00 am—5:00 pm at the university club, 123 university place, oakland, pittsburgh. Odd numbered posters: 12 1 p.m. even numbered posters: 1 2 p.m. 2:00 3:00 p.m. richard p. allen distinguished lectureship in sleep and circadian rhythms keynote speaker: daniel buysse, md upmc. This session will explore novel mechanisms of sleep and circadian regulation, including effects on non neuronal cells and immune and metabolic links to circadian function and sleep. In this context, the symposium will cover different perspectives including modeling of artificial oscillators exhibiting non cooperative regulatory interactions, the importance of noise analyses for circuit design, and other approaches revealing key aspects underlying circadian clockworks. This event provides a venue for new investigators and trainees to present their research, highlights sleep and circadian research being conducted at johns hopkins and neighboring institutions, and facilitates interdisciplinary interactions and collaborations.
