Terrainlines Marketing Somethingaboutmaps I sell some of my map prints on an etsy store. since they are print on demand products, i don’t have copies of each item in order to offer my customers real world photographs (i would have to pay hundreds of dollars to have them all printed for my own purposes). A couple of years ago, i started designing sketch views of famous peaks, and i branded them as “terrainlines.” i set up an etsy store to sell posters, mugs, and decals with these designs.

With terrain lines, i'm turning some of those mapmaking tools toward creating wall art. modern graphics techniques sometimes lack the charm of centuries past, and so i've worked to try to recapture a bit of that magic while still working digitally.
