Every year, thousands of people doing innovative work around the world seek the distinction of being named a ted fellow—yet only a handful are selected. allow us to introduce you to them, and to their ideas we find so inspiring.
Amanda Nguyen Ted Fellows Ted fellows are emerging innovators pushing boundaries in their fields. this community is now made up of 500 extraordinary change makers in over 100 countries. Our program provides fellows with access to a massive global audience—scientists, ceos, designers, inventors, entrepreneurs, artists, and other curious minds—through ted talks (which attract two million views every day), other ted produced video content, and ted events held around the world. Each year, a new group of ted fellows from around the world, and from every discipline, are welcomed into this international community of remarkable thinkers and doers. Ted is a nonprofit devoted to ideas worth spreading through ted , our annual conferences, the annual ted prize and local tedx events.

This year's ted fellows cohort represents 14 countries across five continents including, for the first time, angola, ethiopia, and south sudan. each ted fellow was selected for their remarkable achievements, the potential impact of their work and their commitment to community building.
