Taking On Climies Track Solo

Climies Track
Climies Track

Climies Track First episode travelling around australia tackling some of the bucket list tracks across the country. starting off on the wild west coast of tasmania!. Climies track was a bucket list thing for me (boy sam). i’d watched just about every video i could find about it and couldn’t wait to tackle it. i would only recommend doing it with at least two vehicles as there is the potential to get really stuck, and a few dangerous sections.

Enjoy this 8.3 mile out and back trail near trial harbour, tasmania. generally considered a challenging route, it takes an average of 4 h 50 min to complete. this trail is great for hiking, mountain biking, and off road driving, and it's unlikely you'll encounter many other people while exploring. The tracks made around the main bog holes looked worse out in the soft grass. some people have really dug themselves some holes out there as their 4wd has been swallowed. On this episode, we solo tackled an infamous tassie 4x4 mtb trail called climies! the pinch point is in the middle of the trail, a precipitous stretch of track that drives straight through the path of a waterfall on it's way off the cliffs and out to sea. Due to its unpredictable conditions and high difficulty level, climbies track is best attempted in a convoy, with high clearance 4wds, lockers, and a snorkel strongly recommended. this track is a true test of skill, making it a bucket list challenge for serious off road enthusiasts in tasmania.
