Model Driven Requirements Engineering Pdf Conceptual Model Use Case Use cases that describe possible interactions involving a system and its environment are increasingly being accepted as effective means for functional requirements elicitation and analysis. in the current practice, informal definitions of use cases are used and the analysis process is manual. In this paper, we present an approach supported by a tool for use cases based requirements engineering.

Ch06 Structuring Systems Requirements Use Case Std Copy 2015 Pdf Our approach includes use cases formalization, a restricted form of natural language for use cases description, and the derivation of an executable specification as well as a simulation environment from use cases. The position that use cases and scenarios are different but play complementary roles in requirements engineering is taken and an integration of scenarios to a use case based requirements engineering approach is presented. In the current practice, informal definitions of use cases are used and the analysis process is manual. in this paper, we present an approach supported by a tool for use cases based requirements engineering. Building on this work, this study presents a novel method that harnesses the capabilities of llms to assist in creating use case models from textual requirements. it incorporates advanced prompt engineering techniques to transform textual software requirements into use case models.

Abstract: there has recently been a trend in requirements engineering towards combining techniques in order to complement the deficiencies of one with the strengths of another. In this paper, we take the position that use cases and scenarios are different but play complementary roles in requirements engineering. a use case is a collection of scenarios. use cases are appropriate as specification of a system required behavior in interaction with its actors. The investigation of use case modelling is based on questions regarding the representation of use cases, the abstraction level of use case representa tions, and their understandability to laymen. We demonstrate the working of the proposed approach by a sim vending machine example, where the use cases of this system are inputs in the proposed template and the corresponding kripke structure and ltl formal specifications are produced as final output.
