Summer Reading Challenge Mountjoy School The summer reading challenge 2023 is on now! audio books (these are loaned out on playaway devices too!) are as valid as any books you read. 6 books gets a certificate. This year’s challenge is brought to life with illustrations by award winning author and illustrator, harry woodgate, and will launch on 20 june in scotland and 4 july in england and wales.

Use these challenges throughout the summer holiday months to maintain your students’ reading age and progress, or use these ideas at any point in the year to reinvigorate whole school reading or inspire reading for pleasure at home.
