From august to december 2024, i studied law at the national university of singapore (nus) as an exchange student. in this article, i would like to share my personal experience in singapore. The student exchange programme offers an excellent opportunity to study the laws of a foreign legal system up close. exchange students experience different cultures and lifestyles, make new acquaintances, and of course, travel. We start to talk about our life in law school, and i am heartened that yuan peng tries to participate in our discussion, laughing along with the jokes he doesn’t understand. occasionally, he interjects with his experience of the ppe course, which creates a short but forgivable silence among us.
