The standard response protocol (srp) is based on the response to any given situation not on individual scenarios. like the incident command system (ics), srp demands a specific vocabulary but also allows for great flexibility. The goal of this course is for all dodea staff to understand and execute each of the five protocols effectively when responding to an emergency or during an emergency incident to better serve our students, staff, and first responders. this course should take approximately 30 minutes to complete.

The standard response protocol (srp) was created by the parents of emily keyes, a 16 year old girl who was killed after being held hostage in platte canyon high school in september 2006.
