Stage 1 Fire Restrictions Begin June 6 We have great news to report regarding our reclassification efforts with the fire insurance service organization. we have an improved fire protection classification of 4 that takes effect august 1st of 2015. Sequoia and kings canyon national parks will enter stage 1 fire restrictions, which prohibit wood and charcoal fires including wood burning stoves, at 6 a.m. on june 11.
Stage 1 Fire Restrictions Begin 6 29 23 Beginning thursday, june 6, 2024, at 8:00 a.m., the unincorporated areas of apache and navajo county, the apache sitgreaves national forest, state trust land, the city of show low, the towns of pinetop and lakeside will enact stage 1 fire restrictions. Sequoia and kings canyon national parks will enter stage 1 fire restrictions, which prohibit wood and charcoal fires including wood burning stoves, at 6 a.m. on june 11. The prescott fire department and central arizona fire and medical authority will be enacting our stage i fire restrictions on june 6, 2024, at 8:00 a.m. which will also be consistent with the prescott national forest and the unincorporated areas of yavapai county areas not protected by fire districts or area fire departments. The fire restrictions target campground and picnic areas at elevations of 3,000 feet and below, including potwisha campground, and the hospital rock and foothills picnic areas.
