The project addresses the chronic limitations of women in their access to the benefits of international trade, an especially fertile field for professionals and companies.
Special Projects Womex Project womex aims to improve business culture in eu regions through the promotion of gender equality in export oriented small and medium sized enterprises (smes). the focus is on overcoming the chronic barriers women face in accessing the benefits of international trade. Womex is an interreg eu project launched in may 2025, running for four years. its goal is to boost the competitiveness and sustainable growth of exporting small and medium sized enterprises (smes) in participating eu regions – with a strong focus on promoting equal opportunities for women. The project addresses the chronic limitations women face in accessing the benefits of international trade, an especially fertile field for professionals and companies. From world music to a broader range of international projects, piranha is – by inclination and by necessity – a pioneer in working at an international level with many regions worldwide; in supporting the international mobility of artists; and in promoting cultural diversity. The project will last 4 years, until july 2029. the project aims to support female entrepreneurs who want to internationalize their business, focusing on assessing the current situation in partner countries in order to improve the competitiveness of small and medium sized enterprises owned by women.
