The all india council for technical education (aicte) and ministry of education’s innovation cell (mic) today launched the grand finale of the 8th edition of smart india hackathon (sih) 2025 — the country’s largest student driven innovation initiative aimed at solving real world challenges of national importance. We organize a diverse range of events such as hackathons, bootcamps, and workshops, aimed at educating students about various technologies while actively fostering a culture of open source. At the end of the gruelling 36 hour long hackathon, 24 of india’s top student teams showcased impactful digital innovations aimed at solving national challenges.
