Simpleplanes No Control Surfaces
Simpleplanes No Control Surfaces Mk 7 So, i was asked how do you make custom control surfaces, well this is how i do it (no doubt someone will know a better more efficient, lower part count method or whatever, but this is the easiest way for me). It is usually due to having "too much" elevator control surface for the design (balance) of the plane. a lot of people try to add huge horizontal stabilizers with huge elevators to try and force better pitch control, but this normally backfires in pitch wobble.

I have been working on this for a while. this aircraft does not use gyros because i think they are unrealistic. instead it has quite advanced control system written in ft. it can handle asymetric load and it can fly with only 3 nacelles. it allows movement with high precision. check it out:. Took a nicely made tiny plane made by @austinmattingly and removed all control surfaces. pitch and roll is now created by rotating the entire wing. pitch is performs roughly the same as the original and roll is much faster. controls for roll are a tad bit touchy. credit to the original creator for the original plane. I was planning on setting the control surfaces on a activation group but there was no option to do so. you can remove them, but i don't think you can turn them off. you can! go to xml and add "activationgroup", then put the action group number you want there. aaah, the joys of overload.

To add a new aileron, when you open the panel to change the size shape of the wing, right at the bottom there is a button that says 'add control surface'. click that and a new aileron elevator will be added. In this challenge you are not allowed to use any control surfaces!!! what to do: build a plane, that doesn't use any control surfaces! gyro's are not allowed!! pc and mobile game about building airplanes. The "edit dihedral" and "edit control surface" modes do not always move the camera into an optimal viewing position. this is especially true at lower resolutions. as a workaround, you can zoom out after clicking the button to bring the adjustment gizmos into view. 9.6 years ago 1,421 look at mine simpleplanes a ma97z7 prototype control system mark 2 no control surfaces.
