Home Creative Scotland The sounds of scotland showcase brings together traditional, gaelic and folk artists to perform to international delegates. the 2026 showcase will take place on saturday 24 january in glasgow and creative scotland have three world class traditional artists performing across the afternoon. Ten artists will be selected to perform at next year’s event, which takes place from 31st july to 7 august 2026. successful applicants will be selected by the artistic director of the festival and programmed across a range of stages.
