My intention for 2020 is to “practice hard to feel great”! – both on my yoga mat and off it, finding ways to feel good in my body, my emotions and mind. attending consciously to my inner state takes me into living in flow of life and makes me appreciate my life on a different level. If you haven’t done this before (or even if you have), here’s how i start intention setting so it doesn’t seem overwhelming. i choose a few “buckets” to put my intentions into. Financial ones, health ones, goals with my children, etc. and when i sat down in the yoga studio, i set my intention. it all starts with one key component for me – confidence. Intention setting starts with identifying what’s truly important to you and then focusing daily on ways you can embody your core values. intention setting can feel overwhelming for some and like simple goal setting for others. but in reality, true intention setting occurs somewhere in the middle.
