Sailing Hrcola The all volunteer club offers sailing, racing, windsurfing, paddle craft, swimming, and leisurely day sailing on baseline lake. members also enjoy barbecues, educational seminars, family events, sailing instruction, and the fellowship of sailors who share their talents and enthusiasm. Regardless of your watercraft of choice – motorized boat, rowboat, jet ski, sailboat, canoe, kayak, or paddle board – we know you’ll appreciate clean and healthy waters. for the benefit of the water and other lake users, operate your water craft safely and legally.
Sailing Hrcola Each spring and midsummer, hrcola volunteers check the water quality in our lakes. if you have a boat to access the set point on one of the lakes, we’ll train you to check the water clarity level and to take samples that we send to a lab to determine the amount of phosphorous in the water. The huron river chain of lakes offers many recreational choices. boating of all sorts, fishing, swimming, ice skating. you name it – it’s at our door step.
