Rural Indonesia Previous studies have analyzed rural transformation in indonesia at the national level, but information on the magnitudes of impact across regions remains scarce. this study aims to analyze the changes in rural transformation at a regional level in the past two decades. 2014 to 2018 correlated with a decline in rural poverty. this study utilized secondary data from the micro dataset referring to the smallest administrative level named village pote. Regional and small area statistics – activities dealing with regional statistics and statistics referring to sub national areas or areas based on administrative units, urban and rural statistics, rural development, regional accounts, regional typologies, and regional disparities. About 42% of indonesia’s 283 million people live in rural areas and there is widespread poverty and high levels of malnutrition among farmers in some areas. the rural sectors face the challenge of a declining workforce and aging workers.
