The alternate career paths roundtable will take place on thursday, march 3rd at 1pm, via teams. the alternate career paths roundtable will feature professionals who are currently working or training in a different industry than what their degree is geared towards. Based on this approach, this paper presents a description of the careers roundtable exercise, in which students search for information about career paths, find a related job description in. Instead of taking viewpoints and presumptions at face value, a critical thinker will analyse data and challenge viewpoints. at this roundtable, the participants discuss how critical thinking is encouraged in a learning environment, how it benefits students and, subsequently, future employers.
