The rusk county fair pro rodeo, sanctioned by the professional rodeo cowboys association (prca), returns august 8 9, 2025, bringing with it the thunder of hooves, the cheers of the crowd, and the timeless traditions that have made rodeo an integral part of american culture. Kids of all ages are welcome to come and meet rodeo contestants and participate in pony hop races! the preliminary round of mutton bustin will also be during this event. We have 12,000 sq. ft. indoor air conditioned facility, an open air covered pavilion area, and an updated rodeo arena fully equipped for all your rodeo needs. the covered arena provides seating for 4000, an outdoor warm up arena, separate horse stalls, wash bays, and concession stand. The rusk county rodeo association is proud to host the black gold stampede rodeo in henderson, tx.our rodeo includes a variety of events with proceeds going toward local scholarship programs for graduating seniors.
