Our research interests include design automation for intelligent cyber physical systems (cps) and internet of things (iot) applications, safe, robust and data efficient machine learning for embodied ai systems, cyber physical security, and energy efficient cps. Our projects bridge academic innovation with societal and industrial needs — ranging from healthcare staffing analytics and anomaly detection to biomass moisture prediction and robust decision optimization. In summary, the project aims to achieve the goal of evolving os in the context of concurrency. our approach allows users to modify and synthesize lock algorithms without os recompilation. our future plan is to take this approach to its extreme, i.e., generating correct by construction locks. The topics of interest include reachability analysis, decision making under uncertainty, runtime monitoring, behavior modeling, and transfer learning. the lab’s application areas include aerial robotics, mobile robot navigation, and autonomous driving.
