Robotics First Tech Challenge Crestwood First® tech challenge teams (up to 15 team members, grades 7 12) are challenged to design, build, program, and operate robots to compete in a head to head challenge in an alliance format. First tech challenge (ftc), formerly known as first tech challenge, is a robotics competition for students in grades 7–12 to compete head to head, by designing, building, and programming a robot to compete in an alliance format against other teams. On sunday, the crestwood tech lions first tech challenge robotics team competed at the ftc provincials at durham college in oshawa. the day consisted of 6 matches where the robot had to collect points both autonomously and driven by human players.
