Robert Riener Nccr Robotics
Robert Riener Nccr Robotics Robert riener obtained his doctoral degree from the tu münchen in 1997. since he began working in zurich, he has developed robots and interaction methods for motor learning in rehabilitation and sports. Robert riener is full professor for sensory motor systems at the department of health sciences and technology, eth zurich. he has been assistant professor for rehabilitation engineering at eth zurich since may 2003.
Home Nccr Robotics professor in robotics, eth zurich & university of zurich cited by 29,953 rehabilitation robotics virtual reality biomechanics sports science. Robot assisted locomotor training is becoming an established clinical practice. besides training, these devices could be used for assessing walking ability in a controlled environment. The nccr “robotics – intelligent robots for improving the quality of life” in the field of engineering developed new, human oriented robotic technology. the nccr focused on generating insights into technology, materials and control mechanisms for novel robot systems.
