Rhythm Dynamo Nodes Current version supported revit versions are 2020 and up. and supported dynamo versions are dynamo 2.0.x and up. rhythm is deployed from github, and auto downloads the correct node libraries on the fly. Rhythm Dynamo Nodes Dynamo hierarchy: rhythm>tools>batch>batch.upgradefamilies description: this tool with batch upgrade all the revit families in a directory and delete the backup files that are generated. I did mark the node as deprecated so it is not findable in the library anymore, but an upgraded graph should resolve with the node. note: you need to restart dynamo after installation for the ui nodes to resolve. Rhythm is open source and primarily built in c#, and adds revit nodes, core nodes and a view extension to your dynamo. rhythm is available on the package manager. Bang! is built for dynamo 1.3.3 and 2.0.x and revit 2018 . this package provides access to revit warnings utilizing methods added in the revit 2018 api. that being said, these nodes will only work in revit 2018 and higher. why bang? bang stands for the “!” symbol and appears on warning signs.

Both of these are very hard to tackle when working across several versions of revit dynamo. at this time, rhythm tries to support revit 2021 through revit 2024, but there are many hurdles when working on that many versions (outlined in the next sections below). Rhythm view extension, this view extension allows for the auto annotating of rhythm nodes and control of the run mode when the user places background document nodes. Essentially, when i build a new release of rhythm now, i build it specific for every revit release i want to support (at this time, that includes revit 2020 2024). once those dlls are built, they are all nested into the view extension and created on the fly in dynamo. Blackbox is a compilation of nodes that have been built for specific project needs. i find them helpful both in our process and to help teach basic advanced dynamo and basic revit api.
