Instead of going with a top down design, i've started with some mechanics i think will be most engaging. recently mechanics i've liked include prowess and evolve particularly abilities that revolve around natural in game occurrences. I'm fairly happy with where richness is now i just need to design some interesting cards to make use of it. in the meantime, i've got a few other mechanics i'm trying to get a grasp around to harken back to the days of old. Designing abilities for u r has been some of my toughest work u r loves to think outside of the box, breaking metaphysical boundaries. this leads to mechanics that either feel too limited (replicate) or are too ambiguous to formulate.
