Retail Box 1 R Arcanum I still have that it's a bit beaten up. but what developers put in the retail packaging back then was awesome. All boxes can be zoomed and rotated and some can even be looked at from top and bottom angles. also, double click tap a box with a gatefold cover or sleeve cover to open them up. the site is a one man show and done in my spare time.
Retail Box 2 R Arcanum The first release by developer troika games, arcanum: of steamworks and magick obscura follows many of the well established conventions of third person 2d role playing games. Sadly, being no longer in possession of the original disc version, i've been unable to experience the wonderful universe of arcanum for some time. arcanum was somewhat heavily criticised by reviewers at the time for petty things like its graphics, which were, on my pc, very nicely designed. Arcanum is my all time favourite game and ben houge did the best music isle of despair soundtrack is my favourite. anyway, looking to start my annual play through but i'm not sure what build to go for this time. The use box glows green if the item can be used at the moment, or red if it cannot be used in the current situation. if the item needs a target, the player will be returned to the isometric view and given a target cursor.
