Resources Translational Neuroimaging Lab The laboratory consists of a cohesive, multidisciplinary team conducting integrative and multimodal neuroimaging research in human disease and disease models. tnl collaborates with an extensive network of laboratories and is committed to scientific training in the field of neuroimaging. The translational neuroimaging educational program, part of the enigma lifespan working group, is dedicated to advancing brain health through the translational application of cutting edge computational neuroimaging techniques. We study diseases such as alzheimer’s, parkinson’s, and als using advanced mri techniques to identify early biomarkers and understand how neurodegeneration begins and progresses. Doing well by doing good.

Doing well by doing good. Developing new tools and techniques is a longstanding cornerstone of the research that we do. we employ cutting edge techniques, such as magnetic resonance imaging (mri), cognitive and behavioral assessments, genomics, and biomechanics in clinical research and patient care. Funding by dfg: dissecting the neurobiology of anxiety across diagnostic categories – the extension of the marburg münster affective disorders cohort study (macs) regarding anxiety disorders (da 1151 11 1 | ki 588 22 1 | str 1146 18 1) pis: udo dannlowski, tilo kircher, benjamin straube. tam. Our lab focuses on identifying the neuroanatomical substrate for symptoms common in autism and other neurodevelopmental conditions with a goal of direct translation into possible targets for noninvasive treatment modalities, e.g., tms and or fmri based neurofeedback. To foster innovation within this domain, we cultivate and utilize a diverse, multidisciplinary team. young scholars with an interest in neuroimaging and neurodegeneration are encouraged to submit applications for positions within our laboratory.
