Resilient St Vrain Structures Inc Project consisted of constructing a mainline track shoe fly detour, removal & replacement of the existing bnsf bridge with 2 new 208’ long 5 span structures utilizing prestressed concrete girders, drilled caissons, temporary shoring and concrete retaining walls. Resilient St Vrain Structures Inc Following the 2013 floods, longmont set out to make the st. vrain creek channel more resilient to future flood events. the resilient st. vrain project (rsvp) is a multi year effort to improve the st. vrain creek’s channel and surrounding areas in preparation for any future flooding. Our assessment of the effectiveness of the resilient st. vrain project are made in an effort to provide the city of longmont information on their restoration efforts and how resilient the st. vrain may actually be to future flooding events such as that which occurred in september 2013.
