Clemons Lab California Institute Of Technology Home The clemons lab is part of the rees clemons group run jointly by doug rees & bil clemons. we have shared space in braun laboratory and are part of the biochemistry communtiy at caltech. Our research into tail anchored protein targeting has led us to study the pathway in yeast, the protozoan giardia intestinalis, and humans– resulting in a variety of nmr, x ray crystal, and cryo em structures.

During this time he spent two years as a visiting scientist at the laboratory of molecular biology in cambridge, england. the most notable achievement during his graduate work was that he was part of the team that solved the first atomic resolution structure of a small ribosomal subunit.
