Rendering Textures Rendering Vectorworks Community Board Hi there, any one could advise how was created that visible sunbeams that cut diagonally across the room and illuminate dust smoke in old vectoworks tutorial ? is anyone dressing out renderings succesfully with ai tools?. If you do each of these steps one at a time and check the render each time, you will see how the settings interact to give you the best results. each time a setting is enabled or increased in value the render time will increase and this is the primary reason why these settings exist.

Rendering Textures Rendering Vectorworks Community Board I rarely create realistic renderings, but i have questions about setting up new renderworks textures. when downloading textures from a third party site like poligon, one gets a bunch of image files for the base color, reflectivity and displacement. Whenever i need a texture for something that i'm not satisfied with the available onboard textures that come with vectorworks, i turn to the various texture sites. my question comes in regard to the proper method of creating the new texture. i've attached a pic of the various files for a tile tex. For the rendering, i use custom renderworks and make sure that displacement mapping is checked and quality is set to high. this will actually make it look like the 3d geometry changes ( note how the slats overlap the base board). Whether a brick texture or a fabric texture, it needs to be tileable. there are plenty of tutorials available on the net to explain the process on how to create a tileable texture.
