Illegal Dumping Education Campaign Hunter Joint Organisation Last week, we attended ridstock, the annual capacity building event for illegal dumping enforcement officers in nsw. This year, the hunter central coast regional illegal dumping program funded 16 officers from its 11 member councils to attend the event. Through the regional illegal dumping (rid) program, we have supported member councils with training in investigative interviewing, statement taking, and deploying cameras and equipment at known illegal dumping hotspots. Ridstock 2024 is designed to enhance the skills and knowledge of those dedicated to regulating and preventing illegal dumping. the event featured presentations, workshops and networking.
