Rambling About Reading Character Parade Each grade gets to parade around the bus loop one time to show off our costumes to all the other grade levels and parents. itβs such a fun morning! i love seeing all the creative costumes! the upper grades do book reports with their costumes but in first grade we just kept it simple this year. It includes an introduction, welcome message, criteria for judging, and a detailed list of participants from various grades showcasing their costumes. the event aims to encourage reading and creativity among students while celebrating their favorite literary figures.
Rambling About Reading Character Parade A storybook character parade is a fun event where participants dress up as their favorite characters from childrenβs books, creating a lively and colorful procession. We learned how to write home reading report as we read stories. we also played different board games or mind games like scrabble and word factory. and of course, we also strengthened our reading skills through the different reading activities such as readersβ theater and jazz chant. Just to inform everyone, the reading month celebration is being promoted both in the english and filipino classes through classroom based activities like reading corners, storytelling, declamations, and more.
