Quantum Technology Laboratory Chalmers
The Hybrid Quantum Systems Laboratory Hql Through an extensive research programme, we aim at developing and securing swedish expertise within the main areas of quantum technology: quantum computing and simulation, quantum communications and quantum sensing. Access to chalmers' research and quantum computer and ibm's quantum computers, as well as support in the form of training and tailored advice. curious about how you can use quantum technology?.
The Hybrid Quantum Systems Laboratory Hql Chalmers Our research spans from fundamental questions to practical applications, aiming to push the boundaries of quantum science and technology. located in room f4204 of the mc2 building at chalmers, our lab is equipped to design, fabricate, and measure superconducting quantum devices. The hybrid quantum systems laboratory is led by nils johan engelsen and is situated at chalmers university of technology. The hybrid quantum systems laboratory is a new laboratory at chalmers in the division for quantum technology at the department for microtechnology and nanoscience (mc2). We are an experimental group at the quantum technology laboratory of the department of microtechnology and nanoscience (mc2) at chalmers. our vision is to explore the quantum behavior of micrometer sized objects and to develop novel quantum sensing technologies.

Wacqt is a national research programme, coordinated from chalmers, that aims to take swedish research and industry to the forefront of quantum technology. our main project is to develop a high end quantum computer that can solve problems far beyond the reach of the best conventional supercomputers. We offer a vibrant, international research environment and direct access to world class nanofabrication facilities. at the quantum technology laboratory (qtl), we explore how quantum physics can unlock radically new ways of processing information far beyond the limits of classical systems. Chalmers is building sweden’s first quantum computer, along with the theoretical development of quantum algorithms and their implementation for massive simulations. The testbed at chalmers next labs is part of a comprehensive research program where wacqt will develop and secure swedish competence in the four main areas of quantum technology: quantum computers and quantum simulators, quantum communication and quantum sensors.
