Quantum Belts Factorio Mods Quality module increases a machine's ability to make quality items by 1% and decreases its speed by 5%. this means that, at a small cost of items produced per minute, the machine produces slightly more items of higher quality. I made a 5 part guide on quality, starting from the basic mechanics, all the way to blueprints to get everything legendary in a very efficient manner. (obviously, has spoilers).
