Well, it took forever because i kept waiting for a reason to make this cake and then i thought "cake does not need a reason!" sorry the pics are so dark taken with my camera phone. Special thanks to tat for the original design that was liked so much by a customer. i made a few changes to suit the birthday girl. the dog is a toy. the cake is frosted in buttercream with only the stripes being out of fondant. a fun cake to make!. Can someone please tell me what is used for the head of the puppy. i'm pretty sure that a carved sheet cake is used for the body and i guess cake scraps for the legs .but i'm really not sure what is used for the head.
