Birdlife Datazone Birdlife Datazone This fifth edition of birdlife’s flagship state of the world’s birds report summarises what birds, as barometers for planetary health, can tell us about the state of nature, the pressures upon it, and the solutions in place and needed. After two years of development, birdlife international proudly unveils its new and improved datazone platform — a global gateway to cutting edge scientific knowledge on birds and biodiversity.

Birdlife Datazone Birdlife Datazone The new datazone provides unprecedented integration between datasets on extinction risk and conservation status of the world’s birds, key sites for conservation, and summaries of conservation science and action. We partnered with birdlife international to co design and develop the new birdlife datazone — an open access platform that makes decades of species and site level data intuitive, interactive, and actionable. After two years' of planning and development, today we have launched birdlife international’s new datazone ( lnkd.in efgbgrkn). Overview access data on species, ibas, country profiles, tools created by birdlife international and request data on species distribution maps and iba boundaires.

Browse scientific reports and publications written by birdlife independently or in collaboration with others. use birdlife's conservation tools to support evidence based decision making. find out how birdlife's science informs our work to advance ambitious conservation policy. Digitized maps showing the distributions (range boundaries) are available for the world’s birds (>11,000 species, following the taxonomy of the birdlife international taxonomic checklist) in file geodatabase format for use in gis mapping software. With its integrated datasets and sophisticated functionality to search and query our data, birdlife’s datazone is set to become the go to resource for researchers and journalists covering bird conservation, biodiversity, and the climate crisis. Summary: follow this link for information about conservation statuses, taxonomy and important bird biodiversity areas.
