For this we highly recommend you download the specialised thrive launcher, which will automatically download the latest version and unpackage it on your machine. After some delays due to remaking the entire saving system from scratch, thrive 0.9.0 is here. the biggest new feature is the microbe terrain system that adds inert bits of terrain to many of the microbe patch types. All of thrive’s source code has been kept on github where the programming development workflow also happens in the public. the thrive releases have been staying small enough so that they could be uploaded to our github page, where they are freely downloadable by anyone. Temporary download files are now kept in the launcher data folder to ensure temp filesystems with limited space don't cause issues. there's a new system for the launcher to clean its own old temporary files when starting. local crash dumps are now always deleted after reporting a crash.
