Project Stage 5 Insight Maker Isci 360 project stage 2 our model examines the relationship between two straw types ( plastic straws and biodegradable straws ) and their impact on the environment and economics . specifically, we are interested in figuring out whether biodegradable straws are a viable solution to plastic straws . The insightmaker model construction in example 1.2.8 may seem to be built in a somewhat ad hoc way. in section 1.3 and chapter 2 we will try to make model building more systematic.
Stage 2 Project Figure 21 Insight Maker In this 1 hour long project based course, you will create a model that simulates the interrelated dynamics of three different species populations within an environment: plants, deer, and wolves. The simulation model is able to provide deeper insight. the hour by hour display shows tier 2 staff working above desired utilization levels most of the day (burnout). The model shows the basic elements of a system dynamics stock and flow model. i have designed it to demonstrate to operation of a simple stock and flow model and to familiarize the user with the basic operation of insight maker. All insights will be indexed and categorized by insight maker so others can find them and can contribute to them. however, if you would prefer to keep an insight under wraps for a bit, you can do so by making it private.
