The Summer Programme Summer Programmes We propose this summer school as a strategic gathering for collective learning, unlearning, and building the networks necessary for systemic change—a focused input of energy to generate greater long term output of effective, coordinated action. The summer school will give insights into these issues – positions and perspectives – and offer space for in depth discussions among participants on topics that are at the frontier of ecological economics and degrowth.

This year’s summer school is going to be special. we invite you to join us for two weeks of discussions, workshops and excursions around the topics of degrowth, decolonization and green extractivism. James souder is currently a student at icta uab for the master’s program in political ecology, degrowth, and environmental justice. he is excited to join this year’s summer school team to strengthen bonds and shared learning opportunities among participants and speakers.
