The Summer Programme Summer Programmes We propose this summer school as a strategic gathering for collective learning, unlearning, and building the networks necessary for systemic change—a focused input of energy to generate greater long term output of effective, coordinated action. The summer school will give insights into these issues – positions and perspectives – and offer space for in depth discussions among participants on topics that are at the frontier of ecological economics and degrowth.

Summer School Programme Now Available Project Stand The summer school is open to local and international phd students from all disciplines interested in political ecology, organisational studies, and or technology and society studies. Dgi is hosting an in person degrowth assembly in oberlin, oh this summer! we will also be hosting multiple degrowth sessions at the 2026 us society for ecological economics (ussee) conference at oberlin college. We are excited to announce that research & degrowth is now accepting applications for its summer school! this year, we will focus on degrowth and policy. we will dive into these topics. The degrowth summer school, initiated in 2014, has been a platform that brings together academics, practitioners, artists, activists, community organisers, and concerned citizens to collectively delve into discussions and learning experiences related to degrowth and environmental justice.

Summer Youth Program Ithra We are excited to announce that research & degrowth is now accepting applications for its summer school! this year, we will focus on degrowth and policy. we will dive into these topics. The degrowth summer school, initiated in 2014, has been a platform that brings together academics, practitioners, artists, activists, community organisers, and concerned citizens to collectively delve into discussions and learning experiences related to degrowth and environmental justice. We will be asking you to give us some important information in order to prepare the unique logistics of this summer school. This year’s summer school is going to be special. we invite you to join us for two weeks of discussions, workshops and excursions around the topics of degrowth, decolonization and green extractivism. James souder is currently a student at icta uab for the master’s program in political ecology, degrowth, and environmental justice. he is excited to join this year’s summer school team to strengthen bonds and shared learning opportunities among participants and speakers. The degrowth summer school for young activists is an empowering and transformative experience that brings together passionate individuals seeking to challenge the status quo of relentless economic growth.
