Canadian Science Publishing The Org Canadian science publishing (csp) is canada’s independent, not for profit leader in mobilizing science based knowledge, making it easy to discover, use, and share. Starting january 1, 2025, canadian science publishing (csp) and participating caul member institutions are partnering to bring you unlimited publishing and reading access.
Program Canadian Science Publishing Canadian science publishing is a publish and read agreement that provides full reading access and publishing in the publisher’s 19 hybrid journals and 3 gold journals. the agreement is new from 2026 and will be continued from 2027 if there is interest from the participating institutions. Csp has an open access program, which permits authors and or research funding agencies to sponsor online open access of their article. it also has auto deposit of accepted manuscripts into the university of toronto tspace, a free and secure research repository; and an adoption of a creative commons cc by. Csp publishes three interdisciplinary open access journals: arctic science, a journal that focuses on research about northern polar regions; facets, canada’s first open access multidisciplinary science journal;, and anthropocene coasts.

With our plan to transform canadian science publishing (csp) into a fully open access (oa) publisher, our revised mission, vision, and values statements will facilitate our success. at the same time, what has brought csp thus far cannot be lost through this transformation journey.
