Pov Error R Ffxi What i found out was pol.exe was crashing due to d3d8.dll errors. this would occasionally cause other nvidia driver related crashes. i too followed logicals yt video but ended up walking back reshade and dgvoodoo2, completely removing both. only running dgvoodoo2 still had me crashing. Hi all. i'm trying to install ffxi but i get this error message every time. i tried uninstalling and installing again but i get the same error. i'm downloading the install files again in case they got corrupted. does anyone know how to solve it?.

I know, 0011 is node routing issues, but i tried all but two of the listed remedies (i don't use vpns, and i don't currently have access to a long enough ethernet cable, sue me). i had downloaded and installed the september 10th, 2025 update successfully, logged into the game. Use ffxi config in the game directory to configure a better resolution (something smaller). then go to windower 4 and reset your resolution to the same settings as ffxi. Cause: fast vsync on nvidia cards will crash ffxi. fix: go to nvidia control panel, under manage 3d settings, scroll down to vsync and switch vsync to either on or off, disabling fast sync.
