Focus on isolating and mastering basic locomotor (skipping, galloping) and manipulative skills (throwing, catching) in stable, low stakes environments. focus on linking skills together (e.g., dribbling while running) and applying them in small sided games and changing environments. In this course, we will be working 3 fundamental elements of the olympic lift referred to as the “clean & jerk” movement. these are: the front squat, the overhead press, and the hang clean. all 3 movements are excellent fitness and performance tools and will propel our movement education forward.
