Performance Lab U M Hpssc The michigan performance research (mipr) lab provides core research capabilities and educational laboratory opportunities in support of the multidisciplinary mission of the university of michigan human performance and sport science center. Hpssc’s michigan performance research laboratory (mipr) helps elite athletes and everyday exercisers achieve their personal best. the mipr team investigates the biomechanics and physiology of human movement to optimize function, enhance injury resiliency, and ensure lifelong health.
