The berkeley foundation has joined forces with the prince's trust, lambeth and southwark mind, and tower hamlets and newham mind, to provide new mental health support to young people in the trust's kennington and poplar centres. Over the last ten years, the berkeley foundation and its partners have worked with over 33,000 people across london, birmingham and the south of england – supporting them to develop new skills, move into work, improve their physical and mental health, and move out of homelessness. We work in partnership with expert frontline charities, investing in their work to help communities thrive. we take a long term, relational approach to our funding, building trust based relationships with the organisations we support.

Working through local partners, we launched new programmes in six countries and significantly scaled up our work in others, most notably jordan. our programmes seek to bridge the skills and experience gaps which hamper many young people’s efforts to taking their first steps into the world of work.
